Grr.

Oh lord.

So, you guys don't know my situation right now, but I'll give you a little background:

I lived in California for a couple of years, living with my BF of 4.5 years. I decided to leave him last year, and moved home to Chicago. So, now I'm staying with my parents because the job that I have doesn't pay much. I love it, but I'm embarassingly underpaid. But I talked with my mom, and she agreed that job satisfaction was more important than salary, so I could stay with them for awhile longer.

Fast forward to last night. Mom has now started to hold it over my head that I'm still staying with them, even though I'm not costing them anything to stay there, and she insisted that I stay.

I think I need to find a roommate and move out. Yes.

i hate it when that happens.
I did the same thing when I split up with my first husband - my son and I stayed with "mom". I paid big rent for those days and had a mother who told me that I couldn't have people over and that she wasn't the babysitter, so I couldn't go out. I found a roommate and moved to an apartment - got to live as an adult again. Good luck to you.
